Health - Dhvani

Dhvani Early Intervention Centre is a comprehensive project for hearing impaired infants & young children that provides early diagnosis and intervention.  This allows for listening skills & spoken language to develop naturally, allowing the children to integrate with ease in to mainstream society.

Inaugurated in January 2010, Dhvani provides quality service to hearing impaired infants and young children from all strata of society. Dhvani works closely with the family of the child to help them understand their child’s condition.

Dhvani’s audiological testing rooms are highly appreciated & approved by Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Hearing Handicap and it is on the list of referral centres of leading general & private hospitals. Dhvani has state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to carry out diagnostic tests as well as the appropriate interventions.

Latest developments at Dhvani:

Our first child had successful cochlear implant surgery and two more are scheduled for the first half of 2011.

In 2010, more than 60 children were referred to Dhvani, some from as far away as Pune and Surat.
