Save The Children India, a non-profit organisation
that envisions India as a child friendly nation.
The Maharashtra government conducts a mandatory Board exam for students of std. IV and std. VII so that students get the experience of taking competitive exams. Children who perform well receive a cash award scholarship from the government.
Save the Children India works with students appearing for the exams to coach and prepare them to do well in the examination. Our teachers conduct several practice sessions as well as give the children mock tests to increase their confidence prior to the Board exam.
There are 60 of our study centers that tutor children to appear in these exams and 3750 children have benefitted from this extra guidance.
