For siblings Isha Mehra, Rahul Kadri and Mana Shetty, Araaish is tribute to their mother Late Mrs. Vipula I Kadri, founder, Save The Children India. Mrs. Kadri had a compulsive and relentless need to serve the community; she worked tirelessly for 28 years reaching out to thousands of women and children from all corners of the country. In recognition of her contributions to social work, Araaish, a fundraiser for the adolescent girls from the slums that would help empower them, is a befitting tribute to their mother.

‘Araaish’ includes fashion extravaganza with the best of haute garments, jewelry, shoes, bags, home décor and accessories on display.

Over the last few months Araaish has hosted 14 events across Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad and has received a fabulous response with over 25,000 footfalls and coverage in the top publications, local as well as National.

Save The Children India is participating in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 and will focus on its “Education Project”. 

Save The Children India is listed 6th amongst the Top 100 NGO’s which managed to raise maximum funds in the past three years.
